Tindrop — “Swipe to Clean your Gallery”
Last updated: December 31, 2025
Quick summary (30s): Tindrop processes your photos on your device. We do not upload your images to our servers. We store some technical identifiers locally so the app can remember what you’ve viewed/saved/deleted. We show Google ads (AdMob), which may use device data to serve ads (depending on your consent/region). You can reset data from Settings or by uninstalling the app.

1. Who we are

This app is provided by Tindrop (the “Developer”). For privacy inquiries, contact us at lagartijalabs@gmail.com. If you have a company/legal entity, include it here.

2. What data we process

2.1. Photos and local content

  • Gallery access (system permission): used to display, preview, and manage your photos.
  • On-device processing: thumbnails and previews are generated locally.
  • Photo identifiers (IDs) and counters (viewed/saved/deleted) are stored in your device’s local storage for your experience.
  • Web: if you use Tindrop on the web and select files, processing happens locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded by default.

2.2. Cloud integrations (Drive, etc.)

  • Provider authentication: sign-in is handled by the cloud provider, not by Tindrop.
  • Local handling: selected files are processed locally on your device; we do not upload them to our servers.

2.3. Ads (Google AdMob)

Integration with Google Mobile Ads to display ads. Google and its partners may process:

  • Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID), approximate IP, device information, ad interaction data.
  • Ad personalization depending on your consent and region.

More info: Google policies.

3. Why we use the data

  • Display and manage your photos (service execution/contract).
  • Improve user experience (legitimate interest): remember what you saw or decided to make the flow smooth.
  • Advertising (consent where applicable): show ads; if you do not consent, you will see non-personalized ads.

4. Where data is stored

  • On your device: photo IDs and counters are stored locally in the app storage.
  • We do not upload your photos to the Developer’s servers.
  • Google/partners: may process ad data on their systems when ads are loaded.

5. Sharing and recipients

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We share data with Google Mobile Ads to display ads. Check their privacy policies and controls.
  • We may respond to valid legal requests from authorities if applicable.

6. Retention

  • Local data (photo IDs/counters) is kept until you use “Reset” in Settings or uninstall the app.
  • Ad data is handled by Google according to their policies.

7. Your rights

You can:

  • Revoke system permissions (Photos) from your device settings.
  • Reset data from the Tindrop settings section.
  • Restart/limit ad personalization (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy).

8. Consent

  • We request your consent when required for ad personalization. If you do not consent, you will see non-personalized ads.

9. Security

  • Tindrop is designed to process your photos on the device.
  • We use OS-level security mechanisms (photo permissions, app sandbox). No system is 100% secure.

10. Children

Tindrop is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or internal practices. We will post the current version and the last updated date.
